The difference that matters
A general chatbot knows the internet. An assistant built this way knows your business, and only your business. It is connected to a defined body of your own content, and when a question falls outside it, it says so and hands over to a person.
That constraint is the whole point. The failure mode that damages a company is not an assistant saying “I don’t know” — it is an assistant confidently inventing a delivery date, a price or a policy. We build so the first happens and the second does not.
Where it lives
Usually WhatsApp, because that is where enquiries actually arrive in Kuwait. Also the website, an internal tool for staff, or all three sharing the same knowledge base so the answers cannot drift apart.
Internal assistants are often the better first project. Your staff are more forgiving than your customers, the risk is lower, and the time saved is just as real — a new employee who can ask “what is our policy on this?” and get the right answer in seconds is worth a great deal.
Arabic is the hard part
Customers write in Gulf dialect, in Modern Standard Arabic, in English, and frequently in a mix of all three within one message. They use Arabic-Indic and Western numerals interchangeably. They abbreviate. An assistant that only handles textbook Arabic will fail on most real messages.
We test against real message logs rather than clean examples, and we write the source content in each language rather than machine-translating between them, because a translated answer inherits the ambiguities of the original.
Keeping it honest over time
An assistant is not a project that finishes. Prices change, policies change, and a confident wrong answer from stale content is worse than no assistant. Budget a few hours a month for someone to read real transcripts, correct the wrong answers and update the source material.
Any proposal that leaves out this line is not cheaper. It is incomplete, and we would rather tell you that at the start.
What you get
The assistant connected to your content and running on your channel, an admin view of what people actually asked, the handover rules that decide when a human takes over, and training for whoever will maintain it.
Need a ready-made WhatsApp assistant?
For a small or mid-size business that mainly needs WhatsApp answered, Tothiq Assistant is our packaged version of this service: the same approach, set up in a week, with the Starter package at KD 150 setup and KD 39 a month. This page is for assistants built around your own documents, systems and channels.
What it costs
Two parts, kept separate so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Build — KD 1,250, once. The assistant answering from your own documents and price list, on WhatsApp or your site, with the handover rules that decide when a person takes over, and training for whoever maintains it. Paid in advance, before work starts.
Running — KD 145 a month. Hosting, the model usage for ordinary business volume, monitoring, and the answer corrections real conversations force. A twelve-month agreement billed quarterly at KD 435 every three months, each quarter paid in advance, renewing automatically.
This is the one service where the monthly part is not optional. The assistant answers customers in your name, and an unmaintained one quoting a price that changed last month costs more than it ever saved.
Unusually high message volume is priced separately, and we tell you before it applies rather than after.
We usually prove it on one narrow topic first — one product line, one department, one set of questions. It is the fastest way to find out what your customers really ask, which is never quite what anyone predicts. Send us the twenty questions you answer most often and we will tell you whether an assistant is the right answer.
